Kollywood star Suriya teams up with leading lady Trisha in the latest mass action drama Veerabhadrudu. Originally titled Karuppu in Tamil, the film is gearing up for a simultaneous release in both Tamil and Telugu (as Veerabhadrudu) tomorrow.
Surprisingly, despite the big names attached, both Tamil and Telugu versions have yet to generate strong buzz. With limited time for promotions, a quick trailer launch, and a rushed pre-release event, the film’s Telugu bookings are currently tracking below expectations.
Industry insiders note that the opening numbers may even fall short of Suriya’s previous outing , Retro. The real test lies in the morning shows tomorrow: only if the film garners solid word-of-mouth can bookings pick up momentum through the day.
On the technical front, Sai Abhyankar provides the music while Dream Warrior Pictures bankrolls the project. With Suriya and Trisha’s proven chemistry, fans are hoping Veerabhadrudu will rise above the muted buzz and deliver a strong theatrical run.
