Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth joined hands with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for the solid revenge action drama Coolie. The film, featuring Akkineni Nagarjuna in a powerful villain role, released last August and thrilled Tamil audiences on the small screen. However, Telugu viewers have been waiting patiently for their turn.
Now, the wait is finally over. Coolie is gearing up for its World Television Premiere in Telugu. Sun TV, which owns the satellite rights for both Tamil and Telugu versions, will bring the film to Telugu audiences via Gemini TV this Friday at 7 PM.
The film boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Upendra, Soubin Shahir, and Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, alongside Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna. With music composed by Anirudh Ravichander and production by Sun Pictures, Coolie promises to deliver high-octane entertainment on the small screen.
It will be interesting to see how Telugu audiences respond to the film after such a long wait, but given its star power and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s gripping direction, expectations sky-high.
