While the recent Pehelwan glimpse received an excellent response from fans, the team of Peddi has disappointed audiences by postponing the film from its planned April 30, 2026, release. Though rumors had been circulating for days, it now appears almost certain.
Starring Ram Charan, Peddi has been delayed due to pending production work, a few remaining shoot days (including a special song), VFX issues, and other technical tasks. The makers are reportedly considering a new release window in May or June 2026, aiming to deliver a polished final product.
Interestingly, the film was originally announced for March 27, 2026, on Charan’s birthday. While fans did receive a second glimpse on his birthday this year, the shoot is still incomplete. Adding to the delay, music director A.R. Rahman is said to be struggling to finish the background score within the given timeframe.
These repeated postponements have frustrated fans. Every time the film builds hype, rumors of delay follow, weakening momentum. Now, all eyes are on the makers to announce a fresh release date and rebuild excitement from scratch.
