The much-awaited romantic comedy Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, starring Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde, has officially shifted its release date. Originally scheduled to hit cinemas on 5 June 2026, the film will now release a week later, on 12 June 2026.
Directed by David Dhawan and produced by Ramesh Taurani under Tips Films, the makers explained that the change was made in the spirit of solidarity within the film industry, as Yash’s Toxic is getting released on June 4th. They emphasized that it is healthier for filmmakers to support one another rather than compete unnecessarily on the same release date.
With this update, audiences can look forward to experiencing the fun-filled entertainer just a week later, as the film promises to deliver a vibrant mix of romance, comedy, and youthful energy.
