In an interesting development, Shivaji’s Sampradayaini Suppini Suddapusaani, which was initially planned for a direct OTT release, is now set to hit the big screens instead.
Renowned actor Shivaji and senior actress Laya play the lead roles in the film. It was earlier announced that the movie would premiere on the popular Telugu OTT platform ETV Win on February 12.
However, the makers seem to have changed their plans at the last minute. Reports suggest that the decision was revised just hours before the film was scheduled to stream on ETV Win, leaving many surprised.
Sampradayaini Suppini Suddapusaani to Release in Theaters
According to sources, the film was recently screened for a few members of the film industry. After watching the final output, several well-known personalities reportedly advised the producers that a content-driven film like this deserves a theatrical release and could receive a strong response on the silver screen.
Directed by Sudheer Sriram, Sampradayaini Suppini Suddapusaani is now all set to release in theaters on March 6, 2026.
